Account Manager

The Account Manager is a direct customer sales position promoting the sale and licensing of RigData and The Land Rig Newsletter products and services. The primary duty is to optimize revenue and customer satisfaction within assigned territory. Position will primarily be assigned to a territory and the majority of customer contact will be in person.

General Job Duties:

• Achieve Net New Sales Target assigned by Sales Management.
• Identify new opportunities within assigned accounts, and identify new potential customer companies.

Data Analytics – Data Asset Development Manager

This role is accountable for leading and driving cross-functional initiatives to improve existing data and acquire valuable new data to ensure business success. Will help drive product creation and generate revenues by assessing business needs for data and building and executing on a strategy to deliver on business objectives. Will support the overall monetization of data by ensuring that data strategy and rights are considered in all business activities.

Job Duties

• Work closely with other senior personnel and their teams to assess data needs and optimize short and long term revenue growth.
• Develop a strategy for enhancing new and existing data and manage implementation across the organization.
• Develop and manage oil and gas database.

The Freelance Energy Reporter will be responsible for researching and writing stories and enterprise and analytical pieces about U.S. and North American energy policy, regulatory and market developments. The reporter's primary focus will be on the rapidly changing natural gas and oil sectors, their environmental impacts and the impact of growing unconventional gas and oil resources, such as shale gas and oil sands, on energy markets and policymaking. The reporter will also cover selected clean energy topics, including offshore wind development. The reporter will work closely with the managing editor to identify key subject areas of interest to our subscribers and potential subscribers domestically and internationally, with the reporter responsible for following developments and alerting the editor to new areas of interest.

Senior Industry Analyst - Upstream Oil & Gas

The Senior Industry Analyst is responsible for providing research and analysis of data supplied from internal and external vendors for all publications and for a series of new research reports for sale to the stakeholders in the oil and natural gas contract drilling industry. The Senior Industry Analyst will also assist the Director of News & Analysis in developing a portfolio of special research reports that will leverage the brand and help create new synergies with other statistical report products. Regular responsibilities include providing research and analysis of statistical trend data for eventual web-based products and creating sophisticated, proprietary statistical modeling and forecasting tools needed to generate unique and high-value research reports for sale. This is a position that involves supporting well-established publications through their transition to the web and creating new analysis-based products to help build company revenues.

Job Duties

useful for the publications’ editorial missions.
