Importing DRL into DeLorme Street Atlas PLUS by RigData:
1. Save the attached DRL file (LLGxx.xls) from your email to a standard location on your computer.
2. Importing DRL data into Street Atlas:
a. Go to the XData tab at the bottom.
b. Select the Import button to the right.
c. Choose Data Source, find your DRL file, and then Open it.
d. Select the [llgXX$] SYSTEM TABLE, and then Next.
e. Make sure the circle next to Latitude and Longitude is checked on the following screen, and then Next.
f. Customize how the rig locations look on the map by choosing from the symbol drop-down box.
g. Change how text appears on your map on this screen as well, and then Next.
h. You should now see the locations plotted on the map.
3. Using DRL in Street Atlas:
a. Use the arrow tools in the upper right of your map:
i. Zoom In (1 Level): Alt + Page Down or Single Red Down Arrow
ii. Zoom Out (1 Level): Alt + Page Up or Single Red Up Arrow
iii. Zoom Out (3 Levels): Ctrl + Page Up or 3 Red Up Arrows
iv. To zoom in, you can also draw a box with your mouse.
a. Starting to upper left of the area you want to see closer.
b. Click and hold your left mouse button.
c. While holding the mouse button, drag the mouse to the lower right of the area you want to see closer.
d. Let go of the mouse button and it will zoom into that specific area.
v. Right-click on a location to get information or details about the rig.
vi. Right-click on a location or place on the map to create a route.
4. Saving your work and importing new files:
a. Use the Save icon to save your file in a .SAF format.
b. The .SAF file saves your map view and settings for use the next time.
c. The next time, just open your saved .SAF file to resume work.
d. If you are importing a new DRL file, you will need to start from step 1 and repeat all steps in order to refresh the data.
e. You can import multiple files into one .SAF, but for each file, you have to go through the import process, customization, and so on.
