INTERVIEW PROCESS
Our interview process is thorough - it's important for both of us to determine whether RigData is the right place for you. The selection process differs by position, as does the group of people you will meet with. We want you to do your best, so we have outlined the typical interview steps for positions below.
  • Submit your resume and cover letter to hr@rigdata.com. Both documents will be read carefully.
  • We review all applications within 48 hours of receipt. If we do not see a fit, we will notify you via email. If we are interested, you will be contacted by our recruiter for a phone interview. The phone interview is usually a 20 minute call to get to know you better. We will evaluate your knowledge of the organization, and your relevant work and education experience.
  • If we choose to continue the interview process, your information will be forwarded to the hiring manager. If not, you will receive an email to inform you that you will not be moving forward in the interview process.
  • If the hiring manager is interested, you will be contacted to schedule onsite testing and an interview. Our testing includes a personality and cognitive assessment, an internet research survey, a typing test, and a spelling and geography quiz. Satisfactory results are required to continue the interview process.
  • You will be contacted within a few days of your interview to inform you of our decision. If an offer is made, you will receive a written acceptance letter and start date, which you must sign and return.
  • Congratulations! You have joined the RigData team.

  • Plan Ahead - A great way to make appositive first impression is to have a solid understanding of what our company does and the potential role you could play here.
  • Know Yourself - We look for potential employees who have talent, internal drive, and a successful employment track record, so tell us about yours. Come prepared with facts to back up your success.
  • Be Early! You never know what the traffic is going to be like and you will want to have time to relax and collect your thoughts before jumping into the discussion.
  • Prepare Questions - There is a lot of excitement and growth going on at RigData and this is your best chance to get insight from employees who work in this environment every day. Show us your interest by having well thought out questions prepared.
  • Evaluate Us - Our interview process is designed to provide us ample time to get to know you and what you would bring to our company.
