RigData reports cover the permit, drilling and well activity in all the oil producing states in the United States, the Gulf of Mexico and Canada.

What type of data elements can RigData provide?

RigData offers more than 450 data elements that captures the life of a well from its permit, drilling, completion and its production up through retirement.  We have historical data that In many cases exceeds 10 years and with most production to inception.

How is the activity information collected?

Permit, location, production and completion information is collected by the respective agencies that govern the oil and gas permitting and drilling activities for each state or region. This information is entered by RigData into a proprietary database and then manually reviewed before publishing. Drilling activity is surveyed each week from direct calls to the drilling contractors that are doing the drilling. This information is added to our database and kept current each week.
