RigData Licenses & Leaders  is a weekly activity report for Canada that details all of the new drilling licenses filed during the week. The RigData Licenses & Leaders report keeps you abreast of all the most current drilling permit filings in the areas that matter most to you!

What you'll find in every RigData Licenses & Leaders report:

  • List of all drilling licenses in the selected area of coverage
  • Drilling licenses information:
  • Legal description (e.g., section, township and range)
  • Geological field
  • Operator contact information
  • Drilling license application date
  • Well information:
  • Lease information
  • UWI number
  • Well class (e.g., oil, gas, coalbed methane)
  • Well type (e.g., original drill, workover)
  • Proposed Total Depth (PTD)
  • Date of license (or pending if no approval date)
  • Well orientation (e.g., horizontal, vertical)

    • **‘Reports are also available in excel format for those subscribers who value the ability to filter, organize and import data into their own systems.  These are offered in more than one format to include various data attributes to supplement RigData report products.  By selecting the Excel delivery format you will be contacted by Customer Service to determine your needs and the various combinations of data we can offer.  These products are available at a price consistent with your usage, sharing and company size.
